Pleased to Meet You: Introduction to the Collections of the Archives of Michigan

December 1 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm

The Archives of Michigan was created as part of the Michigan Historical Commission in 1913. The role of the Archives is to collect state and local government records. The Archives is the Official Repository of State government records. State government departments have retention schedule for their records that dictate what records are transferred and when. Learn about records that can support your research!

This program will be available in person and virtually via Zoom. A Zoom link will be posted in advance for those unable to drive to the Library.

Speaker: Rachel Clark, Archivist at the Archives of Michigan.
